Follow the Instructions Carefully

Starting at the bottom, fluff your Christmas tree. Keep working the same process up the artificial Christmas tree, paying close attention to every piece. Adjust each part as necessary, moving the branches in the direction you want the tree to fluff.

Set some lights

Christmas tree lights not only offer a festive touch but may also be used to fill in any gaps. Pick Christmas lights with green wires to mix in with the tree and give it a more volume look. Rather than being clear, the lights should be a dark color, such as dark blue or green Christmas tree lights. Consider some green lights and glittery Christmas tree decorations, such as our green sequin ball ornaments.

Loosen and add the leaves

When you fluff an artificial Christmas tree with your hands and fingers, which makes it look real, nothing matches the natural movement of wind through the leaves. Get a rotating Christmas tree stand to loosen the branches and reproduce this look while saving physical effort. If everything fails, add a couple of pine sprays to your Christmas tree to make it extra fluffy and attractive!

Some Helpful Tips to Put Christmas Tree Back in the box

After the Christmas festival, many people don’t know how to put Christmas tree back in box. Therefore, we have also shared useful tips to save the Christmas tree after the festive. Here are the following tips below:

Use a Storage Bag if possible

When it comes to putting away their Christmas tree, one of the most common mistakes is to put it back in the cardboard box it came in. There are two main reasons why this isn’t the best thing you can do for your tree:

  • It is very hard when you get your tree back into the box where it came from. Mostly, It’ll be a tight squeeze, and sometimes when it pushes, which results in branches or lights being damaged.
  • The cardboard is weak and breaks down easily. It won’t keep you safe from things like wetness, bugs, temperature changes, or dust.

A storage bag is the easiest way to store your Christmas tree. It will keep you safe from moisture, insects, and other risks. It’ll also be big enough to cover your tree without you trying to push it in and risk breaking it.

Examine the lights

Now that you’ve taken down all of your decorations, it’s time to put your Christmas tree away. But hold on! It’s one of the best times to check your tree for any light issues, such as burned-out bulbs, now that it’s not loaded in decorations.

Replacing burned-out bulbs is essential to the overall safety of your Christmas tree’s lights. When bulbs burn out, the remaining bulbs absorb the excess energy and are forced to work harder. It will also burn out more rapidly. If you see any burned bulbs when you store the tree, go and replace them first.

Folding up the Branches

It’s necessary to fold the branches up. Simply reverse the process you used to shape your tree at the beginning of this season. Fold the branches down rather than dragging them out.

If you’re keeping your tree in a tight space, you’ll want to take more time bending down each branch and tamping it. If you’re storing your tree in a larger container (such as a storage bag, which we recommend), you can simply fold the branches up rapidly and save time on this step.

Select a Storage Location

Your tree should be stored in a dry, clean, and temperature-controlled environment. It’s why, provided your basement stays dry, a basement or a closet is a better way to store your tree than just a loft or a garage.

Just avoid the direct sunlight that can discolor your lights, dampness which can usually damage your lights. However, the temperature changes may cause discoloration, especially to white or flocked trees. To keep your tree safe and fresh, keep it free of dust and insects. It’s best to put your tree horizontally, against a wall, so it doesn’t get packed on top of it or knocked down.

You can store your tree vertically, but it’s good if you keep it on its specific stand, so it doesn’t get knocked over.
